Ballarat Tech School is hosted by Federation University to introduce students from partner schools in the region to tertiary education, and encourage careers in local emerging industries, particularly in the S.T.E.M. fields.

Our task was to turn the existing three-storey concrete-framed red brick building constructed in the 1980s, into a modern and innovative learning hub.

The project stripped out the building, created openings between floors, added an atrium and re-clad the facade to transform and create the new school.

Within the internal layout we provided an innovative and high standard place of learning filled with dynamic spaces and state-of-the-art technology and equipment, beyond what is achievable by any school in the region, demonstrating to all attendees that their education is valued.
